Abstract

The research objective is to to know how big the performance accountability students in tasks lectures especially in Cell Biology courses based on the indicators that have been established and its correlation with the value of Middle Semester Exam. To achieve these objectives, the research descriptive, correlational. The population used in the form of students majoring in biology education FPMIPA IKIP PGRI Bali, with a purposive sampling techniques, so that all students who programmed the course of Cell Biology automatically selected as sample with the number of 51 students. Data obtained through the performance evaluation process, through observation guided by indicators: peper format; depth study/peper material; performance presentation; ability to answer questions and communication styles. Data midterm exam score is obtained by giving the essay test. Data were analyzed by using descriptive and Pearson Product Moment Correlation analysis using SPSS for windows 20.00. The research findings performance Accountability students in the application of Cooperative Learning Model GI type in the course of Cell Biology, very good category. There is a considerable correlation (r xy = 0.709) between accountability for performance of students with grades midterms achieved in subjects Biology Sel.

Abstract

Collaborative learning is one model of learning that can be applied in the learning course of numerical methods. This learning is not only emphasizes the unity and the ability of the group, but also the ability of each individual to understand the material. To support this learning required an instructional media such as the student worksheets. Using student worksheets in learning of numerical methods aims to help students determine the range of material and translation of the material. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach that carried out on students majoring in mathematics education IKIP PGRI Bali in sixth semester. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Description is based on questionnaire data relating on using student worksheets. Based on the analysis, using student worksheet received good response from students and can assist students in learning. Based on the results of these studies are also expected some improvements and development on a worksheet in terms of both translation and writing materials

Abstract

Biology is an important lesson to learn at school. But sometimes there are problem that found in the action of learning biology. Some of those problem are the teacher uses a little variations in the learning process and there are many technical terms of biology. Assist cards with summary is a media that can used in learning process. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of using assist cards with summary toward students’s biology learning result in class X SMAK Thomas Aquino Tangeb Mengwi Academic Year 2015/2016. The type of this research was quasy experiment. Design of this research was Non-equivalent Posttest Only Control Group Design. The research population were all of the studenst in class X SMAK Thomas Aquino Tangeb Mengwi Academic year 2015/2016 which consist of 5 classes. This research used multi stage random sampling to got the research sample. Class X 1 as the control class and class X 3 as the experiment class. The data of students’s learning result have gotten by using essay test and analyzed by using t-test. Based on the analysis, obtained thitung = 2,49 and ttabel = 2,021 with the significance level 5%. It shows that thitung > ttabel (2,49 > 2,021) so H0 refused and H1 accepted. It can be conclude that there is the influence of using assist cards with summary toward students’s biology learning result in class X SMAK Thomas Aquino Tangeb Mengwi Academic Year 2015/2016.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between the knowledge society with its attitude towards the environment in the village of Banjar Biaung Kesiman Kertalangu Denpasar, the 2014.Populasi in this study were residents in the village of Banjar Biaung Kesiman Kertalangu Denpasar the number of residents in 1010 and used as a sample of 50 members community using Proportional Stratified Random Sampling. Data collection was conducted by questionnaire and the data obtained were then analyzed by simple correlation analysis. Results of regression analysis regression line equation y = 10.19 + 0.88 X. From the above regression equation can be interpreted that if the value of the knowledge society incremented by 1, then the average value of its attitude to the environment increased to 0.88, or any value knowledge society increases of 50, then the value of his attitude to the environment at 44. From the analysis of the data obtained r value of 0.789. This is in relation to the interpretation of the correlation coefficient indicates a strong relationship. The correlation coefficient indicates that the variance between the variables that occur in the knowledge society with its attitude towards the environment by 62.3% and the remaining 37.7% is determined by other factors. Thus concluded that there is a significant relationship between the knowledge society with its attitude towards the environment in the village of Banjar Biaung Kesiman Kertalangu Denpasar, 2014.

Abstract

This study aims to determine significant differences between students’ calculus achievement who follow contextual teaching and learning approach setting lesson study and who follow conventional approach. The population in this study were all students of the first semester of the department of mathematics education IKIP PGRI Bali academic year 2015/2016, with a sample of 57 students' taken by simple random sampling technique. This study is an experimental research (quasi experimental) with non-equivalent control group design. Data of calculus achievement was collected using calculus achievement test. The data was then analyzed using t-test. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences between students’ calculus achievement who follow contextual teaching and learning setting lesson study and who follow conventional approach of the department of mathematics education IKIP PGRI Bali academic year 2015/201.

Abstract

Many effort have been done to control the plant disease such as the use of biopetiside. This research was done in order to know inhibitory activity of beatle leaf the cultivar of Beleng extract and its inhibitory mechanism against the growth of F. solani var. coeruleum, that causal agent of dry rot disease on potato tuber. In order to find other alternatives for controlling the disease, Beleng leaf were studied for their bioactivity against F. solani var. coeruleum. The result of the study indicated that the crude extract of Beleng leaf at concentration 0.05%; 0.1%; 0.15%; 0.2%; 0.25%; 0.3% and 0.35% was able to inhibit the radial growth of F. solani var. coeruleum on Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) medium. The variation of crude extract concentration was found to influence the fungal growth of potato tuber on PD Broth medium. In addition, the crude extract of Beleng leaf was able to inhibit the spore germination and spore formation of F. solani var. coeruleum on PD Broth medium. The fractination of Beleng leaf crude extract with Column Chromatography and Thin Layer Chromatography produced 15 fractions of compound, the fraction number VI which is made of three compounds with Rf value : 0.35; 0.55 and 0.78 efectively inhibited the growth of F. solani var. coeruleum on PDA medium.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of learning model Aptitude Treatment Interaction and the seating position to the result learning math class X SMA Negeri 1 Kuta, Which learning model will give different results better learning.This type of research study quasy Experiment (quasi-experimental) design Treatment By Subject where the study population is all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Kuta which consists of 7 classes. The samples in this study conducted by random sampling technique. From the seventh grade class earned the samples were taken four classes X4, X5, X6, X7 subsequently taken two classes as the experimental group obtained grade X4 and X6 class and second class as the control group gained grade class X5 and X7. Instrument in this study using a test in narrative form while the data analysis used ANOVA F-test two paths. Based on the analysis of data obtained: 1) There perbedeaan atara Math results of students who take the learning model Aptitude Treatment Interaction with students who take the conventional learning models. 2) There perbedeaan results atara Math students in a sitting position with a U-shape with the students sitting position parallel or regular. 3) There is no effect of interaction between the learning model that is applied to the seating position of learners in their influence on mathematics result learning that were not followed by the Tukey test.

Abstract

The use of aeroponics system is one alternative for horticultural growing vegetables such as curly lettuce. This study used three types namely NPK fertilizer, AB mix and liquid compost. This study aimed to determine the effect of NPK fertilizer, ABmix and liquid compost through aeroponic growing media on plant growth curly lettuce (Lactuca sativa L) and to know which is better fertilizer for plant growth curly lettuce (Lactuca sativa L). The formulation of the hypothesis proposed in this study is the alternative hypothesis (Ha) which says that there is influence of NPK fertilizer, ABmix and liquid compost through aeroponic growing media on plant growth curly lettuce (Lactuca sativa L). This type of research experiments conducted with the use of a pattern of "The Post Test Only Control Group Design" is implemented with three fertilizer NPK fertilizer, AB mix and liquid compost through aeroponic planting medium with five repetitions. The population in this study is a curly lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L) of 500 plants and 300 samples of each treatment plant where there are 15 keriting.Data lettuce plants collected in this study is data on the number of curly lettuce plant fresh weight. The data obtained in this study was processed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the F test and significance level of 5% and 1%, if there are significant differences among treatment followed by LSD test. The results obtained by analysis of F for curly lettuce plant fresh weight was 225.98 while the limit for rejection of H0 at significance level of 5% and 1% by dk between groups = 3, dk in groups = 56 respectively are 2.77 and 4.15. The most optimal wet weight obtained at AB fertilizer mix.

Abstract

This rescareh was an experimental research that was a 2 x 2 factorial design that involved the learning model as the free variable, the students match achievent as the bound variable and the metacognitive skill as the moderate variable. Recognise has all the variable can be tightly controlled so that this research could be classified as a pseudo research. All the hypo thesis examination had using Microsoft excel program and SISS No. for windows program. This research populations was the students of XI grade of SMA N 7 Denpasar in the academic year 2015/2016. The single was taken random from class XI science 1 and XI scince 2. Based on the data analys is it was discovered them on the first hypothesis. Examination of + test. Score is = 2,688 with of = 82 and the “Sig (2 tailed) score or p-value = 0,009. This was proved by the Fhitung = 9,49 and Ftable score is = 4,08 on 5% significans, because Fhitung > Ftable means Ho was rejected. It means the math learning achievement of the students those followed the implementation of the problem solving learning model of open math problem got better result. The those who followed the problem solving learning model. The second hypothesis examination of t-test showed t-score is = 3,433 of is 22, so the sig score (2-tailed) on p-value is = 0,002 smaller than the level alfa of 0,025 it also showed through tukey is 2,021. Qhitung is 3,35 is hile Qtable is 2,021. Qhitung > Qtabel Which means ho was rejected and H1 was acceptd. It means the students achivenent who followed the implementation of the problem solving learning model of open math problem got better score, compared with the students achievent who followed problem solving learning model toward the students who had low metacognitive score of t-test and t-score is = 4,012, of = 22 so than sig score (2-viled) or p-value is 0,002 smaller than alva level 0,025 . This was should Qhitung > Qtable that means Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. It means the students math achieverment who followed problem oriented got better result solving learning model toward the students who had the metacognitif skill on the forth hypothesis the result of the accumulasiy of analysis varians (Anara) on the 2 lines showed that the FA score is 9,46 bigger that 4,08 (significant), means Ho was rejected and H1 . FAB = 34 smaller than 4,08. Ftabel score on dk A = 1, dkdalam = 44, = 0,05 in the score of 4,08, that because FABhitung < Ftabel (dk A = 1, dkdalam = 0,05) means that the Ho was acepted and H1 was rejected. That’s means there was no interaction between the implementation of learning solving problem which achieved with open math problem orientation and the students metacognitif skill who result of math learning.

Abstract

The aim ofresearch was to determine (1) Whether or not the application of learning models ARCS influence on learning outcomes math class XI student of SMK Wira Harapanof the academic year 2016/2017, (2) To determine the students' response to the application of ARCS model of learning in mathematics.This research was conducted on a class XI student of SMK Wira Hope in the academic year 2016/2017. This study included quasi-experimental as well as with Matched Group Design. The population in this study are all class XI student of SMK Wira Harapan as many as 560 people and involved a sample of 60 people taken by simple random sampling technique. Student learning outcomes through mathematics achievement test. This study were analyzed by t-test, but previously tested the prerequisites are: normality test of data distribution and homogeneity of variance test.The results of learning achievement data analysis with significance level of 5% was obtained = 2,188, whereas = 2,045. Thus, greater than, means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This, showing no effects of the application of learning model ARCS on learning outcomes math class XI student of SMK Wira Harapan half of the school year 2016/2017. From the analysis of students' response to the application of ARCS learning model in the study of mathematics belongs in the positive.
